4 months old

Yikes. I cannot believe I haven't even had enough time to post this yet! Especially since Ellie Jo is now 5 months and 1 week old! I plead new homeowner/ new mama/ working wife. Forgive me!

Ellie Jo has now discovered her feet! She loves pulling her feet up and sticking her toes in her mouth, and she absolutely loves to have her feet rubbed! Not tickled; rubbed. As in a massage. Yeah. She's quite the little princess.

Ellie Jo also loves KinderMusik, which we started in the middle of September! She likes the "sing hello to baby" song (same tune as "The Farmer in the Dell"), and she likes her new friends, Kasen, Brody, Emily, Cody, Ellie (yes, another one), and Kate.

She has started to say "mama" and "nana," but as far as we can tell, she only screams those things when she's angry and needs attention!

Her favorite thing to do is "How big is Ellie? SOOOO Big!" She really hates tummy time, though! We're working on it.

She sleeps 8-10 hours at night, and about once every few weeks will wake up and need mama and daddy in the middle of the night.

Anyway, here's the princess's 4-month pictures!

So cute :)

This is a normal face. Typically accompanied by grunts and growls!

Also a normal expression! She's a happy baby.

I absolutely love this face! I will surely
miss it as she grows out of it.

My assistant always does a good job of keeping
the baby happy. :)

I wish I'd video-taped this, because he was whining
at my mom because he wanted to sit next to Elizabeth
for her pictures, and my mom said no! You can see
how much joy Ellie Jo has when she gets to spend time with Sarge. :)

This shot makes me so happy, that I almost want to cry!
I always describe this expression to people, but words
just don't do it justice! My precious baby girl has such a
happy countenance and loves to smile at everyone!

Big 4-month-old! (Literally. Check out those rolls!)

She was looking at Nana and wanting to get out of the seat!

I believe this picture does a good job of capturing a "Grandpa Gord" face.

"See my feet, mom? I can grab them!"

Sarge is definitely her protector!

Checking on "his" baby :)

I love how her eyes and expression are just so full of wonder
here!

Besides big smiles, this is the most commonly seen expression on her when she first wakes up!

Here's the big girl at her 4-month check-up: 16lbs., 5 oz.! Exactly 10lbs. more than what she weighed at birth!
